Product Description
The French Door Refrigerator Temperature Sensor gauges the temperature inside the freezer or fresh food compartment and relays the information to the electronic control board, triggering the compressor. If your appliance is too cold or not cold enough, the temperature sensor may be shorted out and need replacement. Note that your appliance has two temperature sensors (also called thermistors) ??? one in the fresh food compartment and one in the freezer. Installing this part will require basic tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
