To access the part, remove the screws holding the console on to the door. The new control board comes with its own mounting bracket, but note that this part does not include a new thermal fuse. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the water supply under the sink. Helpful Tip: Consider replacing the Thermal Fuse (item 8193762) at the same time you complete this repair.
