The SxS Refrigerator Evaporator Motor helps circulate the cold air from the freezer into the fresh food compartment for sufficient cooling. This part includes an external wire harness. You'll need to transfer the fan from the existing part or purchase a new one separately. Please see your specific model's parts list for the fan part number if needed. This part is behind the back panel of the freezer, so you'll have to remove your ice bucket, all the shelving, the lower bins and rails and mounting clips to access it. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, considerable disassembly of the refrigerator and intermediate repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
