This Dryer Thermal Cut Off Kit is a safety device designed to protect the dryer from overheating. A multimeter can be used to test the fuse. Always check the dryer venting when replacing a blown thermal fuse. To access the part, you'll need to remove the back panel of your dryer. This kit includes one thermal cut-off (360 degrees) and one hi-limit thermostat (250 degrees). Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience.
