Product Description
The Dryer Drive Motor powers the drum of the appliance during the drying cycle. This part includes the pulley for dryer drum drive belt and the reverse threads for the blower wheel. If your dryer's drum stops turning during the drying cycle, won't start at all, or the motor itself is loud, the drive motor may be burned up or damaged and should be replaced. This part is designed to fit dryers manufactured before 1996. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
