This Dryer Gas Burner Valve Assembly is what supplies gas to the dryer burner. If the valve has failed and your dryer is no longer getting any gas or heat, or it's leaking and you smell gas, this part may need to be replaced. Replacing this part may require specialized tools, complicated disassembly of the appliance, and repair experience. This installation requires that you open up the gas system. If you don't feel comfortable doing this, please call a skilled technician. If you are going to replace the part yourself, remember to unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also be sure to shut off the gas valve at the wall.
