This Refrigerator Door Closer helps the refrigerator and freezer door stay closed. If either door is leaking cold air, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. In order to access the part, you'll remove the covering to the water line at the bottom front of the refrigerator and then release the water line (be sure to place a towel down to catch any water). You'll then remove the hinge from the top of freezer. Then open the freezer door and carefully lift it off the bottom hinge. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing.
