The Top Load Washer Agitator Dogs facilitate agitation during the cleaning cycle. This part may be needed when the top part of the agitator is not moving properly, but the bottom still functions correctly. This repair kit includes (4) agitator dogs. Note that if the agitator of your appliance needs repair beyond just the plastic dog clips, you can purchase a more comprehensive repair kit separately. Replacing this part will require basic tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off your hot and cold water supplies.
