If your appliance does not start as expected or the door will not close, replacing the door switch may alleviate the issue. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, minor disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
