Product Description
The Dryer Heating Element is strung with a coiled wire made of a nickel and a chrome alloy. If your dryer isn't heating as expected, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. This wire receives, but resists, a controlled electric current and as a result, the wire heats up. The heat produced is used to dry the clothes in your dryer. To determine if the original part is defective before you begin the repair, use a multimeter to test for continuity. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
