Product Description
This Top Load Washer Drain Pump is located at the bottom of the appliance and removes water during the drain portion of the wash cycle. If your washer doesnt drain properly replacing this part may alleviate this issue. To access the part, start by removing the front access panel of the washer. You'll then remove the hoses attached to the pump (be sure to place some towels down to catch any water). Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies.
