Product Description
The Dishwasher Door Gasket creates a seal around the dishwasher to prevent water from leaking out. If the door seal is torn or the dishwasher is leaking water, replacing the part may alleviate these issues. Note that the faulty dispenser latch gasket more commonly causes a leaking dishwasher than a damaged door gasket. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the water supply under the sink. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh?« Dishwasher Cleaner (item W10282479) once a month or as needed, to help remove limescale and mineral buildup that can affect your dishwasher's performance. *affresh?« brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation. Recommended Item: The Dishwasher Drain Pan (item 1021760) slides underneath the appliance and diverts any water leak to the front of the dishwasher.
