Replacing this part will require basic handtools and some disassembly of the oven. Previous repair experience will be helpful but is not necessary. Remember to unplug the oven or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Caution: The oven door may feel heavy; 2 people may be required to safely lift the oven door to replace the outer glass.
