Product Description
The SxS Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly receives water from the water inlet, holds the water in the ice mold until it freezes and then automatically ejects the ice and refills again until the ice storage bin is filled. This part makes 8 radius ice cubes at a time. The assembly includes (1) wiring harness, (1) ice bin assembly, (2) mounting clips and installation instructions. If your appliance isn't producing ice as expected, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator's water supply before you begin. Helpful Tip: This assembly does not include the front cover, wire harness or shut-off arm; we recommend that you use these parts from the old ice maker.
