Product Description
This Dishwasher Turbidity Sensor is used to detect water clarity inside the appliance. This part measures sediment content in the water and adjusts the dishwasher's cycle time and functions accordingly for optimal cleaning. If your dishwasher isn't cleaning your dishes properly, leaking, or not draining, replacing the turbidity sensor may alleviate these issues. Note that you'll need to remove the dishwasher from the cabinet to complete this repair. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the water supply under the sink. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh?« Dishwasher Cleaner (item W10282479) once a month or as needed, to help remove limescale and mineral buildup that can affect your dishwasher's performance. *affresh?« brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
